Wizards of the Coast revealed five new Secret Lair drops through various partners today, with themes like tattoo art, mechs, alternate takes on Planeswalkers, bolts, and birds.

The drops are a part of the “superdrop” that will release over the course of the first week of June, similar to how the first seven Secret Lairs were released at the end of last year.  There will be an opportunity to buy all of the Secret Lairs in the superdrop as a bundle, similar to the first set of drops, and the bundle will come with a random fetch land promo from Secret Lair: Ultimate Edition.

Each drop will be available for 24 hours, 12 PM Eastern to 12 PM Eastern, on the following schedule:

  • Full Sleeves: Tattoo art theme, releases Monday, June 1 for $29.99.
  • Can You Feel with a Heart of Steel: Mech theme, releases Tuesday, June 2 for $39.99.
  • The Path Not Traveled: Alternate takes on Planeswalkers, Wednesday June 3, for $39.99.
  • Mountain, Go: Four different full-art Lightning Bolts, Thursday, June 4, for $29.99.
  • Ornithological Studies: Bird theme, Friday, June 5, for $29.99.
  • Bundle of all Five: Monday, June 1 through Monday, June 16, for $169.95.

Wizards expects these Secret Lair drops to begin shipping on August 15 for North America, as well as for the LATAM and APAC regions. European shipments should begin around August 30. (Check the full list of countries that Wizards ships Secret Lairs to.)

Full Sleeves

Wizards partnered with Chicago-based tattoo artist Joshua Howard of Pioneer Tattoo for the tattoo-themed “Full Sleeves” Secret Lair drop. The art on the five included cards mimics the style of traditional tattoos and all of the card names have references to tattoo-related words: Spell Pierce, Blood Artist, Eternal Witness, Pithing Needle, and Inkmoth Nexus.

The drop will also have codes for a Pithing Needle sleeve style on MTG Arena and copies of these cards for Magic Online. It will release on Monday, June 1 for $29.99.

Can You Feel with a Heart of Steel

The “Can You Feel with a Heart of Steel” drop is made up of three, alternate, full-art foil versions of classic artifact creatures: Darksteel Colossus, Arbound Ravager, and Walking Ballista. It will be available on Tuesday, June 2 for $39.99.

It will also include codes for an MTG Arena sleeve style of the Arcbound Ravager art as well non-foil copies on Magic Online.

The Path Not Traveled will be available on Wednesday, June 3, with four foil alternate art cards, as well as codes for a sleeve style on MTG Arena and Magic Online versions of the cards, for $39.99.
