Hello Podwalkers,

Welcome back to the Goblin Lore Podcast and strap your selves in. This is a longer episode due in part to the amazing questions that you all sent us to ask DeQuan Watson (one of the hosts of the Color of Magic podcast). In part one of a two part series the hosts discussed with DeQuan representation of Characters of Color in Magic Lore with a fair amount of tangential seeming stories that are very important to the overall discussion. If you haven’t listened to Part 1 you should probably go do that now…

Today in Part 2 we are back with mailbag questions and actionable advice for steps we can take for addressing issues of race in the Magic Community.

Again we would like to state that Black Lives Matter (with a link to where you can offer support both monetary and not).

As promised, we plan to keep these Mental Health Links available moving forward too. For general Mental Health the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) has great resources for people struggling with mental health concerns as well as their families. We also want to draw attention to this article on stigma from NAMI’s site.

If you’re thinking about suicide or just need someone to talk to right now, you can get support from any of the resources below.

You can find the hosts on Twitter: Hobbes Q. at @HobbesQ and Alex Newman at @Mel_Chronicler. Send questions, comments, thoughts, hopes, and dreams to @GoblinLorePod on Twitter or [email protected].
