On today’s Minute: The two GPs this weekend are the last before Standard rotates, plus Commander 2017 reprints, and Saturday’s world-building panel at PAX West!

There are two Standard Grand Prix this weekend, in Turin, Italy and Washington, D.C. These GPs are the last major Standard events before the release of Ixalan on September 29th, at which point both the Battle for Zendikar and Shadows Over Innistrad blocks will rotate out of the format. Wizards will be covering both GPs on Twitch, with coverage of GP Turin starting at 3am Eastern on twitch.tv/magic and then transitioning to coverage of GP DC later in the morning.

Good news, Commander fans! Mark Rosewater announced on his Tumblr that Commander 2017 will in fact be reprinted. Many players were disappointed to find their local game stores quickly sold out of many of the newest commander decks, especially 5-Color Dragons, but a second print run should help everyone get their hands on their favorite tribe’s deck.

Finally, Wizards will hold an Ixalan world-building panel this Saturday at 4:30pm Eastern at Pax West. The panel will be streamed on Pax’s Twitch channel at twitch.tv/pax and promises some cool backstory about Ixalan as well as some new preview cards.
