Wizards of the Coast announced four new Challenger Decks this evening during World Championship XXVI. The four decks—Allied Fires, Final Adventure, Cavalcade Charge, and Flash of Ferocity—will be available on April 3, 2020.
Challenger Decks debuted in 2018 to provide an entry point into Standard with powerful preconstructed decks for $29.99 each. They turned out to be a very successful product and four more were released in 2019, again for $29.99 each. The 2020 Challenger Decks, however, are the first iteration to come after Wizards eliminated MSRP for its products so we don’t know how they will be priced at big box or local game stores.
