Season 9 of the Vintage Super League continues next Tuesday at 9 PM Eastern (GMT -5). We’re running a series of articles to celebrate, like our intro to VSL Season 9 and our rundowns of the Top 5 Decks in Vintage and the Top 10 Cards in Vintage. Plus, we’re running a few VSL fantasy leagues on Thousand Leagues!

Week 7 of the Vintage Super League’s ninth season is done and dusted. Rachel Agnes went undefeated this week to earn herself a bye in the playoffs! Metallic Mimic helped her destroy her opponents. Both Brians and Bob have been eliminated from the playoffs. Can’t wait to see the last week of VSL regular season.

Season 9 of VSL is organized into four groups of four players. Week six features Rachel Agnes, Bob Maher, Brian Kelly and Brian Coval, who played a full round-robin tournament this past Tuesday night. The competitors brought a variety of decks to the event: Enchantress, Lands, Blue Belcher, and “Construct”ive Criticism.

R6: Rachel Agnes (Constructive Criticism) defeats Brian Kelly (Enchantress) (2-1)

Rachel Agnes (3-0)
Rachel took constructive criticism and she really pulled through this week. I can’t wait to see what she brings in the semi-finals of the playoffs. Good luck Rachel!

Brian Kelly (1-2)
Brian Kelly had a rough week but tried to earn a playoff spot with a sweet take on Enchantress running Standstill. If you know anything about me, you know I love it when we “take our time,” but that is beside the point. Good luck and hope we continue to see your interesting and amazing innovations in Vintage!

Bob Maher (1-2)
Bob put one up on the board this week, but unfortunately wasn’t able to qualify. Mono blue Belcher came up short in wins despite coming through with—it can still hang in the format off some broken starts. Well played this week Bob!

Brian Coval (1-2)
Brian tried to “land” a stronger deck this week, and while it failed thanks to some lucky repeals off the top it was another example of what can do well in Vintage. Lands is a fun yet interesting take on the strength of Bazaar of Baghdad.
