Midweek Magic is dropping on Tuesday with a new take on a Constructed format, Innistrad Constructed. This format will have players building a 60-card Constructed deck using only cards from Innistrad-related decks on Arena.
Using your deck you’ll be able to earn up to three prizes, the first two are Rare Individual Card Rewards, which can be either a rare or a mythic rare card available in Arena. The third and final reward you can earn is a Mystery Cosmetic pack. This pack will most likely reward you with a new card style, but has the chance to drop much rarer items such as avatars or pets.
Midweek Magic: Innistrad Constructed is completely free to enter using either the Magic: The Gathering Arena app or game client. The event starts this Tuesday at 2 p.m. PT and will run until Thursday at 2 p.m. PT.
Innistrad Constructed Rules
Since you can only use Innistrad-based sets, you will have to build a deck using cards from Innistrad: Midnight Hunt, Innistrad: Crimson Vow, and Shadows Over Innistrad Remastered. You will also have access to all cards in the Shadows of the Past selection as well for your deck-building purposes.
Because of the strong horror themes in the Innistrad sets, there are all sorts of creepy decks you can build focused around specific creature archetypes. Common decks you might find during this event could be Werewolves, Vampires, Spirits, Humans, and Zombies.
