This Week’s Videos

Dunk of the Week

01:52:12-01:53:58

The last turn of the game in the last match in this series of Modern Hero. Our storm opponent was representing Remand but we didn’t come here to not cast Through the Breach. After a tense moment on the stack, Through the Breach resolves and we hit our opponent for exactsies.

Final Record and Closing Thoughts

ROUND ONE – UR Storm (0-2)
ROUND TWO – Jund (2-1)
ROUND THREE – Counters Company (0-2)
ROUND FOUR – Death’s Shadow (2-1)
ROUND FIVE – UR Storm (2-1)

Another week of facing off against two Storm decks. At least we managed to squeak out one match win against them. I felt good about all of our other matches, against Jund we were able to go over the top thanks to the power of Valakut, against Counters Company we had close and interesting games, and against Death’s Shadow our sideboard plan really shined.

As I mentioned earlier, this is the last week of league videos. I will be back next week with an RPTQ tournament report and hopefully a plane ticket to the PT in Spain. Thanks again to Cardhoarder for lending me all of these cards. Please check them out for all your online shopping needs.
